My experience with essential oils has been nothing short of amazing. I’m excited to go over essential oils and their uses, including 3 everyday health concerns: allergies, sleep and weight loss.

Essential Oils In A Nutshell

Essential oils are volatile liquids extracted from a particular part of a plant, known for their very potent and therapeutic properties. This means finding the purest essential oil provides you with a completely natural solution to complement a healthy lifestyle.

Their wide variety of uses include: cooking, cleaning, productivity, focus, motivation, emotional support, fitness, etc. With 3 methods of application, aromatic, internal and topical, essential oils can be used to improve nearly any activity of the day and are a natural alternative for everyday wellness.

How To Use Essential Oils For Allergies

1. Aromatically: Make a blend to diffuse into the air using an essential oil diffuser.

 

2. Internally: Place 1 drop of Peppermint on tongue and press tongue to the roof of mouth for decongestion.

3. Topically: Apply Peppermint, or doTERRA Breathe, to the back of the neck, under the nose, and on the bridge of the nose as needed. Take a warm, soothing bath with 3 drops of Lavender and 3 drops of Eucalyptus.

How To Use Essential Oils For Sleep

1. Aromatically: Make a blend to diffuse into the air using an essential oil diffuser.

 

2. Internally: Add 1 drop of Roman Chamomile to your herbal tea or just hot water. Also, doTERRA offers Serenity in a convenient softgel that is easy to take before bed.

3. Topically: Rub Lavender, or doTERRA Serenity, on feet and behind ears as needed. Add 3 drops of Lavender and 3 drops of Copaiba to a warm bath.

How To Use Essential Oils For Weight Loss

1. Aromatically: Make a blend to diffuse into the air using an essential oil diffuser.

 

2. Internally: Add 1 drop of Ginger or 1 drop of doTERRA Slim & Sassy to your water throughout the day. Also, doTERRA offers Slim & Sassy in a convenient softgel that is easy to take as needed. Add 2 drops of Thyme and 2 drops of Lime into a capsule and take once or twice a day.

3. Topically: Rub Peppermint, or doTERRA DigestZen, on stomach to support healthy digestion and upset stomach.
